BEAUTY MUST HAVE } A friend asked me to give her a make-up tutorial and I thought it would be fun to do a make-up post. I spend more money and time on my make-up than dressing myself up or buying clothes! I'm really weird... I guess it's because I was always insecure about my body. Shopping for clothes actually gives me anxiety and I've learned to only shop when I need something or have a wish list of classic pieces I need to invest in (like a winter coat). Shopping for make-up is definitely easier and less stressful for me!
1. What's in my make-up bag? These three favorite and basic items. I seriously hardly ever leave home without using these three items. Obsessed much? Yups! I've tried other liquid liners and cream liners, but I always always go back to MAC's Fluidline cream liner. My eye lids are oily and not normal, and MAC's Fluidline stays on without smudging for a full day! I can have a full face of make-up on from 8AM to 12AM the next morning, and my eye liner is still in tack!! I'm constantly amazed by how good it is and how much I love it. I use Fluidline in BlackTrack with a thin flat brush and draw/paint it on my lids as if I'm sketching. I start from the inner lid, work my way outward, and then slowly create my cat eye.
2. I feel like every girl can use a little blush... every single day! I hate feeling like I look pale. I'm pale enough, but a little blush can go a long way! It really breathes life into your face. I love MAC's blushes, and I use a combination of Well Dressed, PeachyKeen, and sometimes Dolly Mix.
3. A friend introduced me to YSL's Touche Eclat 4 or 5 years ago, and I'm still using it 'til this day! It has a slight sheer coverage for your dark circles and bags under your eyes, but what I love about it is that it instantly brightens up your face! I feel wide awake when I put this on... or I just look like it ;)
So what's in your make-up bag? Please share! I'd love to hear about your beauty must haves. I always love trying new make-up products =)
