Perfect Pairing: Crazy for collars

Instant Stunner } Dressing up this season can be so much fun! This is still one of my favorite necklaces and how perfect is it for this time of year? There's so many ways to wear this Crystal Scallop Collar and you'll find yourself having lots of fun wearing it over and over again!

1. Why not pair it with a fun print? I love the contrast! 2. It will always go so perfectly with any LBD as well! 3. Try pairing it up with a sweater dress this season. 4. This necklace also works with a more casual fabric such as denim and chambray. One of my favorite things to do is to style this necklace under my collars! (These pairings work for dresses or tops in similar fabrication.)  Happy Monday & have fun dressing up!

1. J. Crew dress 2. Milly dress 3. Club Monaco dress 4. Anthropologie dress

Currently Coveting: Celine

Currently Coveting } Since we are displaced from our homes in the aftermath of the storm... we haven't been able to get back to normal or work at all. It's very eerie to see half of Manhattan shut down and blacked out. Maybe it's a sign for us workaholics to pause and rest our brains and remember to breathe. But I have to say... I can't wait to get back to normal and start working again. As a small business owner, you tend to live and breathe your business because at the end of the day, you have no one else to rely on but yourself. You're basically a mommy or daddy and your business is your baby. You have to nurture it, care for it, and if you don't... it suffers. It's so sad to see all our neighborhood small businesses shut down and not being able to open. We know the feeling... But New Yorkers are resilient and we'll be back on our feet in no time!!

For now... I guess I'll just drown myself in my sketchbook, fill in my Muji calendar and notebooks with notes and deadlines and dream of these beautiful (and simply perfect) Celine shoes to get my mind off this horrible storm!!!

Color Story: Emerald

Color Story } One of our collection colors this fall is Emerald. A bright, and beautiful shade of green, Emerald is always a Fall/Winter favorite to brighten up our fall and winter ensembles, specially for the holidays! It's just a no brainer. I'm currently coveting this gorgeous Joie "Arnie" sweater in this amazing shade of green... or what we like to call Emerald =D

Some of my favorite Emerald pieces I'll be wearing on repeat this season are the Doily Drops and the Mini Ribbon Bar Necklace(these styles have also proven to be a FAN FAV, yay!). These pieces in Emerald makes me so happy!! ;)

Have a happy & beautiful Monday loves XO

Style: Chilly Day

CHILLY SPRING } I guess April flowers brings May showers this year. The weather definitely has been a bit weird. We've had a mild winter and a pretty chilly spring. Counting our blessings though and we won't complain at all! Really hoping for a nice summer ahead... It was a bit chilly + raining off and on, so this has been practically my daily wardrobe -- simple tops with my Grandpa size cardi, skinny jeans, boots, and simple/easy necklaces like our "Charlotte" bow enamel necklace. Really love this Zara peplum-esque knit top! The navy blue stripes are perfect!

COLOR CRUSHING } on pretty shades of Blue this season. These picks are my must-coveted items for Spring/Summer. Completely fell in love with every single piece for it's perfect design, not to mention color. Remember when Sabrina on GG wore a version of these ODLR beaded tassel earrings? Obsessed. Also, including our Tribal Half Moon Necklace in a shade of Denim Blue as well =)

Inspired Beauty

I'm so inspired right now... and this photo of Freja Beha Erichsen by Glen Luchford SPARKED it. The mood that this photo conveys, the romantic feel, the beautiful color combination, the lighting, the way her vulnerable eyes are peaking out from her bangs, and her pale skin with bright red lips... wowsers, I could go on for days! This is EXACTLY the feeling I want for my branding and my packaging. I'm so inspired and have so much work to do!!! =D

I love it when these sparks of inspiration happens! I feel so sky high =) Okay, back to work!! Have a Happy Friday everyone! xo <3

O is for Olivia

Olivia Palermo - Whether you love to love her or love to hate her, the girl has style! I wish someone would do an interview with her on her closet!! Wouldn't that be so interesting to see?? I want to see what she has in her closet and how she organizes it.

I love the way she dresses, styles herself, and accessorizes... there's no doubt she has impeccable style and knows what looks good on her + it doesn't hurt that she's absolutely gorgeous also!! Some people really do have IT ALL.

Dolly Pearl

I've tweeted about Dolly Pearl, I've posted about her on Facebook, but I haven't blogged about her yet and it's about time! I absolutely adore Dolly Pearl and everything about this brand. You can clearly see that there is a unique style of Dolly Pearl - every piece is beautifully elegant, effortless, non-seasonal, and timeless.

What I love about the brand is the designer's aesthetic and attention to detail and the fact that she doesn't follow trends. No matter how ornate or simple her designs are, you can distinctly see the beautiful details. Vi's designs are sweet, delicate, has a touch of old hollywood glamour; and when you see each garment, you know that it's Dolly Pearl. Not to mention, her color palette is simply romantic and gorgeous!

I've had the pleasure of meeting Vi and I fell more in love with Dolly Pearl after meeting the designer. Not only is she beautiful inside and out, she's such a hard worker, and has the determination and passion that inspires everyone who crosses her path. She deserves all the success and I can't wait to see what else she has in store for the Dolly Pearl brand! Keep inspiring us babe! <3

In Full Bloom

John Galliano has done it again! He stole my heart... Like I've said in my past posts about this brilliant man -- he knows his craft, knows how to put on a show, and is one of the collections I look forward to seeing every single season. From the well-thought out and intricate designs, craftsmanship, the hair, the make-up, the stage... need I say more? This Couture Fall 2010 Collection is absolutely beautiful and awe-inspiring!! Love, love, love.

The other Coco

Coco Rocha in Zac Posen was one of my favorite Red Carpet looks from this years Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute benefit. She looks absolutely STUNNING. From her hair, to her flawless make-up, and her beautiful gown... the colors are so breathtaking. She looks amazingly BEAUTIFUL!!

I was a tad bit annoyed with so many short dresses on the Red Carpet. I mean... you get this opportunity to wear any ballgown you want to and dress up like a princess for the night and you don't?? Hmmmm.... =P Oh well... Nicole Richie in Marc Jacobs was also one of my favs... she's grown up so much and into such a beautiful and stylish woman. She's a style icon indeed!

Dream Dress, Back then

When I was planning my wedding years ago... this was my DREAM DRESS. Now I can have it... on Barbie! Darn that girl! She gets to wear EVERYTHING. ehehhe. Funny that my actual wedding dress wasn't even remotely close to this beautiful Monique Lhuillier dress. Oh well...

This dress was apart of her ad campaign also back then (I think Fall 2006 or something?) and it was absolutely STUNNING!! I can't find an image of it, but when I do, I'll post it!

EDIT: FOUND IT! This is the only little image I found of the ad campaign. This entire ad campaign was so pretty, I wish I could find all the images from it and file it away for inspiration =(
